We appreciate the placement team which is been lead by Prof Mahesh Bhanushali at DR VN BRIMS who is playing a very crucial role in terms of shaping the career of management students with regard to summer internships, personality grooming workshops, conducting pre-placement talk, and final placements. Continuous quality improvement in the placement process and initiatives taken by management resulted in to 100% summer and 75% final placements for the students at DR VN BRIMS for the academic year 2015-16.
The Institute has taken the strategic initiatives in approaching the companies, conducting the presentations for the HR teams and even arranging pre-placement talks, group discussions and personal interviews on campus and providing all the facilities required by corporate to ensure smooth flow of placement process.
Such interactions with companies gives students the much-needed knowledge and insights of the organization, its business and strategies, challenges and opportunities and ultimately what is in store for them.
The students also come to know about the job role, learning and growth opportunities. With all these efforts of the institute the students started working with the brands like Godrej, VIP, Capegemini, Neilsen, Tata Power, HPCL, HDFC Bank, Goldman Sach, ITC Group of Hotels, Reliance Jio, Times of India, and many more. Our objective is to make our student industry ready. With the changing industry expectations and dynamic business models, students need to be groomed professionally in terms of communication skills, resume building, facing interviews, personality development etc. All this is being preached and practiced for the benefit of the students to ensure that they are adoptable and competitive. This ensure better placements every year in terms of number of students getting placed and attracting reputed companies to the campus. The progress report of placements at BRIMS shows that the institute is growing and giving industry the students in the form of young groomed employees.
Additionally, the institute is ceaselessly trying to encourage industry participation in workshops and conferences, training sessions where corporates will interact with students and faculty to sharpen the skills of aspiring students in his / her area of specialization. At BRIMS, we also would like to discuss opportunities for corporate to get trained by experienced faculty, research scholars and industry experts and gain advantage of the intellectual infrastructure, through Management Development Programs (MDP).
