Bharath University hosts 25th Conocation Day

Bharath University hosted its 25th annual Convocation day for the students of the 2011 – 2012 batch at a grand function at the college campus last week. Dr K Rosaiah , Governor  of  Tamil Nadu was the chief guest for the occasion. J Lakshmi Narayanan, Chancellor, Bharath University and Dr K P Thooyamani, Vice-Chancellor, Bharath University were present on the occasion. This year, over 1200 students graduated from the University.

The event saw the graduate students turn out in strength. Students and parents were excited to partake in this final gathering that these young minds before they ventured into the world to make their mark.  Seizing this opportunity to impart guidance, Dr Rosaiah addressed the graduates on various aspects.

Professors and other faculty of the college were happy to see the students receiving the honours.  The faculty was happy to note that many of the new additions to the current curriculum were helpful in giving the students an edge over other college institution and in their careers.

 J Lakshmi Narayanan welcomed the gathering and said, “This is a proud moment. It always is touching to see the youngsters we’ve been with go out to take on the world. We wish you success in your endeavors For you this is a landmark moment, a time to say goodbye and enter the real world. I wish each one of you the very best!”

Dr K P Thooyamani said, “This is a momentous event for us. It has been 25 years of churning out industry ready skilled professional s and Bharath University raises to the challenge again this year. Our syllabus is specially designed to incorporate the latest developments in the industry and this gives our students a huge advantage over other popular colleges. The university continues to endeavor to match industry standards and will continue to support students to gain access to the latest knowledge in every field. I wish the outgoing students the very best.
