Karachi: Pakistan T20 skipper Shahid Afridi believes that the first edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) can help the senior players to regain their form, and added that the league would also provide a good platform for youngsters to learn.

Pakistan had recently suffered a 1-2 T20 series loss against New Zealand following their three-wicket defeat in the final match in Auckland.

Reflecting on the defeat, Afridi said that his side failed to perform as per their standards, but insisted that they have a potential to rise, the Dawn reported.

The 35-year-old stressed that his side learned a lot on the tour and would perform better in the upcoming World T20 in India.

The PSL is slated to be held in the United Arab Emirates from February 4 to February 23.
