Amroha (Uttar Pradesh) : The family members of cricketer Mohammed Shami on Thursday offered special prayers for Team India’s win in the World Cup semi-finals against Australia at the Sydney Cricket Ground. Shami’s coach, Badruddin Siddique also wished luck to the team, saying the Men in Blue have been performing well in previous matches. “Like other matches, Team India will perform good even today, wish them luck,” Siddiqui said.

“I had a word with him (Shami) on Sunday and he was very happy over his last performance. According to me the chances of team India’s win are 80 percent,” he added. Today’s match today pits four-times champions Australia, the top-ranked team in one-day cricket, against defending champions India. Fans across the country are also holding special prayers for the Indian cricket team. The winners will go on to face the other co-hosts New Zealand next Sunday in the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
