Of late, women cricket has gained much popularity like that of men’s cricket. Cricket fans have seen men and women playing cricket till now but not many may have witnessed men and women cricketers playing cricket against each other and besides each other. But a campaign of Royal Challenge is soon going to make this a reality too.
Royal Challenge is soon going to organise a match where women and men cricketers will play together in single T20 match challenging each other. Royal Challenge launched a campaign #ChallengeAccepted through a video, in which Virat Kohli, Mithali Raj, Harmanpreet Kaur and Veda Krishnamurthy are seen advertising for a T20 match featuring both the genders. Have a look at the video below.
In the video, the cricketers are seen talking about equality. They are urging viewers to change their mental horizon and be prepared to watch men and women playing cricket together. They also ask people to support such a cricket match. The video ends with all the cricketers saying that they accept the challenge to unite genders in the sport of cricket.
The video also urges Indian cricket fans to support first ever mixed gender T20 match that the brand will organise soon with women cricketers and Royal Challengers Bangalore team. Royal Challenge, however, does not reveal about the date, timing and venue of the match in the advertisement.
