Mumbai: Tata Sports Club showed great resilience and remarkable fighting qualities to snatch a thrilling two-run win over Future Group to lift the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Cup, the 10th RCF T20 Cricket. In the championship organised by Rashtriya Chemicals & Fertilizers Limited, at the RCF Colony ground, Chembur, in a low scoring encounter, they bundled out the opposition for 92 with two deliveries to spare, after they set 95 as the target.

Future Group skipper, Akshay Darekar opted to take the field after winning the toss and that paid off. They rattled the Tata’s batting line up leaving them reeling at 47 for eight. But, the ninth wicket pair of Vishal Dabholkar and Siddharth Raur played the role of face-saving effort as they put 33 runs for the wicket.  Unbeaten 27 by Vishal Dabholkar came off 34-balls which were studded with three boundaries.

Disciplined bowling for Future’s was led by Sagar Mule (4-5), Aatish Gawand (2-28) and Javed Khan (2-22).
