It was a battle of do or die for Kolkata Knight Riders yesterday, but the team managed to keep their playoff chances alive after defeating KXIP by 7 wickets. The star of the match of Shubman Gill, who played a superb innings of unbeaten 65 off 49 balls, leading KKR to victory.
The happiest person to witness Gill’s heroics with the bat was his father, who danced in the stands to celebrate his son’s batting. When Gill reached his half-century, his father danced in the stands of IS Bindra Stadium in Mohali. He was caught on the camera while dancing. Have a look at the video.
