Perhaps it was the cutest cheerleading moment for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) when MS Dhoni’s daughter Ziva cheered for his father when he arrived to the crease at Feroz Shah Kotla stadium. Chasing 148 against Delhi Capitals (DC), CSK’s skipper MS Dhoni went to bat at no.5 after Suresh Raina was dismissed in the 11th over by Amit Mishra.
As Dhoni went to the ground when CSK was reeling at 98-3, Ziva started shouting ‘common on’ papa to motivate her father to finish off the innings. Ziva was sitting with mother Sakshi, who motivated her to cheer for his dad. Have a look at the video below.
Recently, a video of Ziva was shared by Dhoni in which she was speaking six languages. In the video, Dhoni taught her how to say ‘I am fine’ in six languages.
Meanwhile in the match, CSK defeated DC by 6 wickets. Dwayne Bravo’s 3/33 helped CSK to halt DC at 147/6 in the first innings. While chasing, CSK got a great support from top order Raina (30) and Shane Watson (44). MS Dhoni scored unbeaten 32* and remained on the crease till the final boundary by Bravo led his team to victory.
