WR’s Mumbai division organised business development conference at Surat

With a major boost to the initiative of ‘Hungry for Cargo’, a business development conference was held at Maharaja Agrasen Bhavan, Surat on 17th September, 2021 by Mumbai Central Division of Western Railway alongwith the representatives of Surat Textile Goods Transporter Association (STGTA) as well as the South Gujarat Textile Traders Association (SGTTA). The BDUs are constantly striving to attract new freight customers for transportation of their wares through railways by introducing customer-friendly initiatives. This conference was yet another interactive session by Mumbai Division to garner the support of the traders & transporter associations from and around Surat region, which is a major textile hub. The conference was held under the chairmanship of Divisional Railway Manager of WR’s Mumbai Division and was also attended by senior divisional railway officers.
