Four players from Mumbai Division of Central Railway selected to represent Indian Women’s Hockey Team to play in Tokyo Olympics

Four players from Mumbai Division of Central Railway have been selected in the National Women’s Hockey Team to represent India in Tokyo Olympics 2021. It is a proud moment for Central Railway as four of its staff has been selected in the 16 member squad announced to play in the Tokyo Olympics. In the 16-member women’s hockey team, 13 players are employed in the Indian Railways.

All four players working in Ticket Checking Cadre of Mumbai Division of Central Railway, Monika Malik Head TC, Vandana Kataria Head TC, Shushila Chanu Pukhrambam Head TC and stand-in Goalkeeper Rajini Etimarpu Head TC have been selected in the Indian Olympic Women’s Hockey Team. These players have been practicing and playing for Central Railway for the last few years coached by Mrs. Helen Mary (Arjuna Awardee) and Mrs. Sarita Grover who are also working on Central Railway and were National Hockey Players.
