Three-day meeting between BJP Chief JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah and Organising Secretary BJP BL Santosh has concluded. Now they will send a report to PM Narendra Modi to take decision for the poll bound states.

MP cadre IPS officer Puroshottam Sharma applies for Voluntary Retirement

One of the seniormost Indian Police Service (IPS) officers of Madhya Pradesh cadre Puroshottam Sharma has applied for voluntary retirement. He is Director General rank officer of 1986 batch.

Will they get an extension because....?

If sources are to be believed, those officers who are involved with proposed G20 events and scheduled to retire in July and August this year, are likely to get extension till November this year. G20 conference will be held from September 7-9 this year in New Delhi and India is the chairperson of G20.

Puducherry DGP shifted to Delhi

Manoj Kumar, DGP, Puducherry has been shifted to Delhi. He is a 1988 batch AGMUT cadre.

Arunachal DGP transferred to Delhi

Satish Golcha, DGP, Arunachal Pradesh, has been transferred to Delhi. He is a 1990 batch IPS officer of AGMUT cadre.

B Srinivasan is new DGP, Puducherry

B Srinivasan has been shifted from J&K and posted as DGP, Puducherry. He is a 1990 batch IPS officer of AGMUT cadre.

Anand Mohan is new DGP, Arunachal Pradesh

Anand Mohan has been shifted from Puducherry and posted as DGP, Arunachal Pradesh. He is a 1994 batch IPS officer of AGMUT cadre.

A&NI DGP shifted to Delhi

Neeraj Thakur, DGP, A&NI, has been transferred to Delhi. He is a 1994 batch IPS officer of AGMUT cadre.

Devesh Chandra Srivastava is now DGP, A&NI

Devesh Chandra Srivastava, DGP, Mizoram, has been appointed as DGP, A&NI. He is a 1995 batch IAS officer of AGMUT cadre.

Anil Shukla appointed as DGP, Mizoram

Anil Shukla has been shifted from A&NI to Mizoram as DGP. He is a 1996 batch IPS officer of AGMUT cadre.

As many as 32 IAS officers of AGMUT cadre have been shifted and posted to different places. Major reshuffle of IPS officers in AGMUT cadre segments

As many as 27 IPS officers have been shifted to various segments of AGMUT cadre. Accordingly, Parwaiz Ahmed has been shifted from Mizoram to Delhi, while Deepak Purohit was transferred from Chandigarh to Delhi and Pramod Kumar Mishra was posted from Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi. Similarly, S K Twari has been shifted from ANI to Delhi; Rakesh Kumar, Satya Vir Katara, Dinesh Kumar Gupta, Sanjay Bhatia from Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi; Shankar Choudhary from Delhi to Mizoram; Pratiksha Godara from Puducherry to Delhi; Rakesh Pawariya from Mizoram to Delhi; Ashish Kumar Mishra from J&K to Delhi; Jimmy Chiram from Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi; Sudhanshu Verma from J&K to Delhi; Bharat Reddy Bommareddy from Arunachal Pradesh to Delhi; Anuj Kumar from DNH&DD to J&K; Mohita Sharma from J&K to Delhi; Akshat Kaushal from Delhi to Goa; Shruti Arora from Chandigarh to Ladakh; Vishnu Kumar from Puducherry to Delhi; Shivendra Bhushan from Goa to Mizoram; Mohd Irshad Haider from Delhi to ANI; Anil Kumar Lal from Delhi to DNHⅅ Rajendra Prasad Meena from Delhi to Arunachal Pradesh; S M Prabhudessai from Goa to Arunachal Pradesh; Anita Roy from Delhi to Puducherry and Satyawan Gautam was posted to Arunachal Pradesh from Delhi.

Karnataka becomes third state after MP and CG to hand over PR department to an IPS officer

After Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh, Karnataka became the third state to hand over the reins of Information and Public Relations Department to an officer of Indian Police Service (IPS). In an order, the Karnataka Government had cancelled the study leave granted to Hemant M Nimbalkar, an IPS of 1998 batch and posted him as the Commissioner, Information and Public Relations Department. In Madhya Pradesh, Ashutosh Pratap Singh, an IPS of 2010 batch is posted as the Director, Public Relations Department. In Chhattisgarh, senior IPS officer Dipanshu Kabra is Commissioner, Information and Public Relations Department. He is 1997 batch officer.
