HOSHANGABAD: Collector Avinash Lavania has instructed the municipality CEO Pawan Singh to organise grievance redressal camps in different municipal wards of the city so that the problems and complaints of the people can be resolved.

He issued these instructions at the timeline meeting on Monday.

Collector said that camps can help offer immediate solution to the problems being faced by the people.

 District panchayat chief executive officer Abhijeet Agrawal asked all the officers to start a campaign, which he said, should be called ‘Zid Karo’, for construction of toilets in each and every house. The collector said that committees should be formed at village panchayat level for this campaign. which should include active local residents as also youth and women. He said that the construction of roads and drainage system would be taken up only in areas where all houses have toilets.

The Collector also reviewed the CM helpline complaints. As many as 2145 such complaints are pending for disposal. The Collector instructed the manager of the MPRDC to get the roads repaired and said that if the corporation does not do the work, then it will be handed over to be another agency.

The collector also reviewed the implementation of other schemes like PM Ujjawala scheme etc.

Assistant collector Sanskriti Jain, in charge additional collector Rajesh Rathore and the chief of all the departments were present.
