Acting is family business for the Kapoors. Having generations of their family taking it forward, there are no tricks of the trade that were lost on them. They know it all, they are prepared for all. However, Ranbir Kapoor did try his level best to change the rules of the game.
Be it, his no print-interviews, or his constant experimenting with roles, Ranbir Kapoor did everything with a sense of change, however – he is going back to old school with a vengeance. While all of social media and his cousins, are going all out to tell everyone that Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is really the best film out, it is obvious that Ranbir Kapoor is still trying to keep mellow.
“The first time he had so much success, he thought the kind of acceptance he got would stay a while but then things started going wrong. He kind of image he has today is not the best and it will take a lot to undo it. His constant breakups and his lack of success at the box office has been alarming to all. So it is obvious that he will be changing the tack.
He has opened the doors for questions, what more taking the blame for everything too… and yet, his films are tainted by his personal equations with his ex girls. It is rather unfair for the talent that he has but then thats the way it is with Indian audience. Unlike Hollywood, if we have a personal interest in any actor, we tend to favour them. It is something that Raj Kapoor had, and something that Ranbir is trying his level best to inculcate,” quipped our trade analysts.
According to our sources, Ranbir has a lot of expectations put into Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and needs the magnitude of success to be so high that it undoes all the flops he has had in the past years.
“All Ranbir’s friends and family are worried cause he isn’t sleeping well, worrying about the fate of the film, case Jagga Jasoos’ fate also depends on Ae Dil….” said our source. If social media posts are to be believed, the film is a hit even before it has released.
