New Delhi: Minister of State for Home Affairs Kiren Rijiju on Thursday said no politics should be played over OROP issue. He said the Delhi police are handling the issue according to the law and its discretion, and added that ministers should not intervene.
Another Minister of State for Home Affairs Hansraj Ahir said a report from the Delhi Police on detention of Congress vice-president Rahul Gandhi, Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisiodia has been sought.
“The government on One Rank, One Pension has been most positive; we have accepted 90 percent of their demands,” he told ANI.

On Wednesday, political leaders vied for attention over the suicide case of ex-serviceman Ram Kishan Grewal, forcing the Delhi Police to step in and detain some of them.
