A Mumbai girl, Pooja Nair has shared her harrowing experience on Facebook. The 22-year-old was travelling by Mumbai local when she had to go through a harrowing experience. While she was travelling with her friend she noticed a man was waving out to a co-passenger in the compartment.

When she looked up she saw a man hurling abuses at her but Pooja did not get scared instead she kept looking at him, thinking that he will look away and stop abusing. But the man continued staring and further went on to unzip his pants and started masturbating.

With the help of fellow passengers she decided to call the helpline number provided by the railways for women. She called the women helpline number to report the incident but was shocked to see the reaction of the person on the helpline number.

And then the person on the helpline laughed.” She was stunned at the person on the helpline could laugh at the occurrence and when asked for help, he disconnected the call.

She informed the person on the helpline the details of the train, the next station. In her Facebook post she has mentioned that the man even threatened her to rape her and also tried to board the ladies compartment at the next station but backed off because the other women yelled.
