The Caribbean side recently clinched a memorable Test series win against the English team and would now be hoping of continuing their rich vein of form in the ODIs as well. Before the start of the ODIs, the West Indies cricket board announced that Chris Gayle will retire from ODIs after World Cup to be held in England and Wales later this year.

West Indies and England are slated to play five one-day matches from February 20 to March 2. England spinner Adil Rashid was not so impressive during the first Tests but will be looking to move ahead and make a mark in his preferred ODI format. Here are the probable playing XI and dream 11 prediction for West Indies and England 1st ODI:

West Indies probable playing XI: Shai Hope (WK), Chris Gayle, Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Holder, Carlos Brathwaite, Ashley Nurse, Kemar Roach, Sheldon Cottrell, Oshane Thomas, Nicholas Pooran, and John Campbell.

England probable playing XI: Jonny Bairstow (WK), Eoin Morgan (C), Jason Roy, Joe Root, Ben Stokes, Moeen Ali, Liam Plunkett, Adil Rashid, Mark Wood, David Willey, and Chris Woakes.

FPJ’s dream 11 prediction: Shai Hope, Joe Root, Jonny Bairstow, Chris Gayle, Jason Roy, Shimron Hetmyer, Jason Holder, Moeen Ali, Adil Rashid, Liam Plunkett, and Oshane Thomas.
