After putting Himachal Pradesh in its kitty, BJP is all set to rule Gujarat once again. Celebrations kicked in for the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP). The BJP leaders and workers hit back at Congress as it strode to yet another win in Gujarat Election results 2017, but in a unique way. Delhi BJP spokesperson Tejinder Bagga distributed a mushroom cake to celebrate party’s victory in Gujarat and Himachal Pradesh.
Recently, OBC leader and Congress candidate Alpesh Thakor had given a controversial statement about Prime Minister Narendra modi eating expensive mushrooms imported from Taiwan which makes him fare. He also alleged that the mushrooms consumed by PM Modi were worth lakhs. And now, taking a jibe at Alpesh Thakor, Bagga brought a cake with picture of mushroom on it.
Tajinder Singh Bagga displayed the cake in front of the media and said, “This is a simple, inexpensive cake but it is a befitting reply to those who brought politics to this level. We will cut the cake here and distribute it here, everyone is invited. Every citizen is invited.” Congress leader Alpesh Thakore had said, “Modi ji eats mushrooms from Taiwan and one mushroom costs Rs 80,000 and he eats five mushrooms every day. He was dark like me but he became fair because of imported mushrooms.”
