Villagers chain their livestock in Maharashtra minister Ram Shinde’s house

Ahmednagar: Villagers of Ahmednagar have taken Minister for Water Conservation Ram Shinde’s advice on how to manage their livestock, in these times of drought, seriously. The Minister, presumably in good faith, had advised that drought-hit villagers should relocate their cattle to a relatives’ place.

Goaded into action by his ingenious solution, villagers in search of fodder for their cattle have decided to take their herd to Shinde’s bungalow, who is also their guardian minister. The cattle will be tethered in the minister’s compound until their demands are addressed.
