Vicechancellor Dr Narendra Dhakad cries foul over exam dept employees’ duty in poll works

INDORE: Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) vicechancellor Dr Narendra Dhakad has dashed off a letter to district administration requesting it to relieve examination department and evaluation centre employees pressed in poll related works as exams are being hit.

Nearly 150 employees of DAVV have been roped in by district administration into block level officer (BLO) services like updating of electoral roll, correction in election cards etc.

Dhakad said that employees of examination department and evaluation centre have also been roped in on block duty due to which exams and evaluation of answer books are being hit.

He wrote a letter to district collector P Narahari requesting him to relieve examination department and evaluation centre employees.

“I also talked to district administration officials over phone and they have agreed to relieve about 15 employees required by DAVV. We will send a list of employees to the district administration on Wednesday,” Dhakad said
