Ujjain : Panic gripped the Sandipani Aashram area when an unclaimed black colored suitcase was found lying behind a water hut located few meters away from main entry gate of the Aashram, here at Mangalnath zone on Wednesday afternoon. Bomb disposal squad of Mangalnath zone rushed at the spot and after meticulously examining the suitcase for an hour squad declared the bag free of explosives.
Cop Ramashankar Mishra posted in Mangalnath zone spotted the suitcase lying behind the water hut and suspicion of the cop was raised further when onlookers informed him that the suitcase has been lying at the place from several hours. The cop gave information to the temporary Sandipani police station TI, SD Singh who in turn informed the bomb disposal squad of the zone. Bomb disposal squad led by Inspector Vivek Singh Tomar rushed at the spot within minutes and started investigation of the bag.
Sniffer dog of the team initially gave no signal of threat after sniffing the bag. Still team took no chance and lifted the suitcase with a rope and scanned the bag with the scanning equipment and then bag was also checked by member of the squad, Virendra Singh Jaat after wearing the bomb disposal suit. Despite carrying out the entire safety procedure squad did not open the suit case and declared it threat free.
When Free Press team asked the reason of the same with the Inspector Tomar, he said in the scanning we did not find any kind of circuit or explosives in the suit case therefore bag was not opened and now it will be disposed in some open area by our RSP team. The Inspector also not divulged the content of the suitcase which indicated towards the possibility that something fishy was in the suitcase which police tried to hide from the media. Similarly, an unclaimed bag was also found lying outside the railway station on Wednesday morning which created commotion outside the station. After few minutes owner of the bag arrived at the place and claimed the bag who forget to pick it while boarding at public conveyance.
