Ujjain: Truck-bus collision leaves 14 cops injured

A bus carrying cops of Kerala’s CISF battalion was smashed by truck on Tuesday early morning.  Over 14 cops received serious injuries in the incident.  The cops were on their way to police lines in a private bus. According to information 28 cops were travelling by the bus during the incident. The truck rammed the bus near Pandyakhedi village. The truck driver fled from the spot after the incident with the truck.

On being tipped off Chimanganjmandi Police reached the spot and rushed the injured to a hospital. According to police Shrikumar, Mohammed Rafiq, Soman RK Philips, Sunilkumar N, Santosh Kumar, Devanand Yadav, Abhijeet, Venkatcharan, Dilip Krishnan, SK Sadhu, Shrikant V, Vipin Murli and the driver Ashok Goswami got injured. The bus driver Ashok Goswami lost controlled over steering after getting injured, consequently the bus rammed into a shop located on the road.
