Ujjain: Trading of vegetables at Chimanganj Krishi Upaj Mandi came to a halt on Thursday following a dispute between farmers and labourers. According to Mandi president Bahadur Singh Bormundala, the matter has been sorted out and trading of vegetables will begin from Friday.

The dispute between framers and labourers took place over unloading charges of crops. After intervention of Bormundala, it has been unanimously decided that unloading charges of Rs 2 per sack will be paid to labourers only. Bormundala said a compromise had been reached between vegetable merchants, farmers and labourers. All office-bearers of the Mandi, vegetable merchants and representatives of labourers were present.
