Ujjain: Rani Lakshmibai remembered on her birth anniversary

Akhil Bharatiya Vidhyarthi Parishad organised a symposium at Dussehra Maidan School in memory of Queen of Jhansi Lakshmibai. Dr Kiran Sharma was the chief orator of the programme conducted by Radhika Sikarwar. Vote of thanks was delivered by Jaishri Kumbhkar.

Likewise Sar Sayyad Ahmed Welfare Society paid tribute to the queen on her 190 th birth anniversary. Secretary Pankaj Jaiswal and joint secretary Raees Ahmed said that social worker Parminder Sahani presided over the programme and garlanded the portrait of the queen. The programme was organised at Shaheed Park. Spokesperson Iqbal Usmani said that many educationists also paid tribute to the queen.

Similarly Geetashridhar Samajik Sansthan also celebrated the birth anniversary Lakshmibai and paid tributes to her. The organisation head Rupesh Kabara was the chief orator of the programme. Vice president of the organisation Gourav Sahu was also present on this occasion with other office bearers of the organisation.
