Ujjain: Now, money lenders will be taken to task by district police stations. Superintendent of police, Manohar Verma told Town inspectors that complaints by victims against money lenders could be received by placing a complaint box at respective police stations, before stringent action against them was taken. His statement to the TIs was made in the presence of ASPs, Manish Khatri (rural) and Amrendra Singh (urban) during a crime review meeting at the police control room, here on Sunday

The SP directed them to collect information regarding chit fund companies and initiate legal action against them. He said that TIs should ensure that no goon could threaten common people and they could be booked under NSA. Verma also said that responsibilities of TIs had to check sale of illegal liquor would be observer and in the event of failing their responsibilities, they too would be taken to task.
