Ujjain: Khel Pratibha Samman Samaroh was organised by Healthy World Exercise Centre on Monday. DIG Raman Singh Sikarwar was chief guest. Ujjain Bar Association president Pramod Choubey presided over the programme. Special guest was former MLA Virendra Singh Sisodia.
Ujjain District Body Building Association and Healthy World Exercise Center felicitated Chandrashekhar Chauhan for receiving state’s Prabhash Joshi Award from Madhya Pradesh Sports and Youth Welfare Department. Maulik Patel, Prarabdh Jain, Arun Chaurasia, Umesh Ariyam and Kamal Singh Deora were also awarded for winning medals at state-level in power lifting. Wrestler Khalid Khan was also honoured. Prem Singh Yadav, secretary Surendra Malviya, corporator Muzaffar Hussain and former Mr India Jitendra Singh Kushwaha greeted the guests with turban and souvenirs.
Sikarwar said that exercise and sports develop creativity among youth. Exercise is a mine of energy and a strong youth is the pride of the nation. Determination, dedication and discipline towards goal are important and continuous exercise helps in achieving peace and goal. Choubey said that Ujjain has established itself in body building field throughout India and healthy world exercise centre has set a record by adding more than 37, 000 lovers till date since its inception. The organizer was Shailendra Vyas. Prem Singh Yadav proposed the vote of thanks.
