Veena Vadini Shikshan Samiti is going to organise an Open Mike Festival on 23 and 24 of this month at Vikram Kirti Mandir from 5 pm. This event is the first of its type wherein poets and singers from all over the country would get a chance to exhibit their talent.  A career guidance programme is also going to be organised by Shri Vaishnav Vidyapeeth Vishwavidyalaya, Indore on March 24 from 4 pm to 5 pm under the guidance of Dr Rajeev Shukla.

Giving this information, the director of the institute Jitendra Wadia said, “Our institute, Veena Vadini Shikshan Samiti, has been incessantly working in the field of education since 1988. Now this institute is eager to give its contribution in the field of art and culture. The first open mike festival that we are organising in Ujjain, is our first step in this direction. In this event, poets would be called on to the stage in alphabetical order to give their performance.

Many budding singers would also get a chance to exhibit their talent. We are fortunate to have got an opportunity to organise this festival and we intend to keep up with this tradition every year. Our institute appeals to all the art lovers to participate in this event and make it a success. Our whole team comprising Shubham Sharma, Tribhuvan Malviya, Mukesh Pandya, Hardeep Dayle, Tapish and Mohit Mahawar is working hard to make it a grand success.”
