Ujjain: Multiple rallies to call for boycott of Chinese products today

Ujjain: Rashtriya Swadeshi Suraksha Abhiyan Committee, which works for the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, will hold six rallies simultaneously from different routes of the city on Saturday.

Ujjain convener of the committee, Kuldeepak Joshi informed that the rallies will be held to encourage common people to boycott Chinese products. The committee has been organizing various events since last week to spread awareness against the use of Chinese products. It has also trained 136 speakers who conduct seminars at 60 colonies, 16 communities, 7 colleges, 28 schools, 19 coaching centres, 8 traders organizations, 11 women organizations amongst others and encouraged around 12, 000 people to boycott Chinese products. The committee also held symbolic funerals of Chinese goods throughout the city. It distributed pamphlets and stickers to around 50, 000 families and extended their message.

Rallies will begin from six different routes at 5 pm and will conclude at Shaheed Park at 6 pm followed by a general assembly to be attended by hundreds of people. The 6 routes of rallies will be from Mahakaleshwar to Radha-Krishna temple via Gudri square, Gopal Mandir, Satigate and Kailadevi dharmshala, Rudrasagar parking to Ashok talkies via Gangaurgate, Danigate, Satyanarayan temple, Kartik Chowk and Chamunda Mata square, Budhwariya to Pakiza showroom via Teliwada, Kanthal, Naisarak and Charak square, from Gayatri Shaktipeeth to Tower Chowk via Lalbai-Phulbai, Jeevajiganj, Khajurwali Mosque and Nikas Square and from Shastrinagar to Sindhi colony and from Sethinagar square to Tower Chowk via Shiv temple, Mahavir Avenue, Maxi road and SS Hospital.
