Ujjain: MTMC to maintain full dignity during renovation works

Ujjain: Mahakaleshwar Temple Management Committee (MTMC) is renovating the hall of Mahakaleshwar Temple and the Ujjain Development Authority has been employed as the construction agency.

A review meeting on the construction was organised on Wednesday at 4 pm in the administrative hall of MTMC office. At the meeting, Pt Sachin Sharma informed that the Mangalnath temple in the hall was removed after proper worship and will be reinstalled after the construction work is complete. UDA executive engineer KC Patidar informed that the wall of the Ram Mandir will be constructed in the same shape and the Hanuman temple will be removed with the consent of Lokendra Vyas to be re- installed later.

A decision was taken in the meeting that the drainage plan of the hall will be prepared and approved by committee. Priest Pradeep Guru said MTMC had not taken any decision for its own benefit rather, had done so for the safety and benefit of devotees and the temple. MTMC administrator Awadhesh Sharma, MTMC member Vibhash Upadhyaya, Vijayshankar Pujari, Pt Ashok Sharma, Pt Sachin Sharma, Pt Deepak Sharma and others were present at the meeting.
