Ujjain: Food and labour minister, Omprakash Dhurve chaired a divisional level meeting at Circuit House on Wednesday.
Directing officials to make sincere endeavours to eliminate child labour, he asked them to visit specific areas and identify child labourers. He issued strict directives to ensure payment of minimum wages to the labourers and registration of masons.
Officials of industrial health security department were directed to ensure payment to factory labourers and also look into their health and safety.
Additional collector Narendra Suryawanshi, divisional labour officer Paliwal and others were present at the meeting.
