Ujjain: Officials were instructed to ensure repair of all bypass roads, Indore road, Ujjain-Jhalawar road and other damaged main roads of the city. Divisional commissioner MB Ojha instructed all officials concerned in a meeting held on Tuesday.
He said that MP Road Development Corporation, public works department and other departments concerned must take action to repair damaged roads. He expressed annoyance over absence of municipal commissioner and water resources department officer in the meeting and directed all the officers to remain present in the meeting from next time.
Ujjain Development Authority chief executive officer Abhishek Dubey proposed to construct buildings, divisional offices and new government residences at Rajaswa Colony. He said that about 45 divisional level departments do not have their own offices and they can be allotted offices after constructing a building on plot number 39 and 40 measuring 6300 sq mt area at Bharatpuri at a cost of Rs 42.40 crore. The commissioner also instructed to settle pending complaints.
