Ujjain: Jan Swasthya Rakhshak Association State president BL Prajapati informed that Madhya Pradesh Government had appointed around 51953 Jan Swathya Rakshaks during year 1995 to 2003 with an objective to provide health facilities to citizens living in the hinterland of State.
The Government has been utilising these workers to strengthen the medical and health structure of State. Jan Swasthya Rakhshak Association has submitted memorandum, addressed to Chief Minister, to the collector with demands like reconstitution of the government, Jan Swasthya Rakhshak Committee, allowing workers to provide free of cost medical facilities to villagers via Gram Arogya Kendra. Association representatives Dilip Mehta, Surendra Singh Sisodiya, Jaipal Singh Baradiya, Lakshminarayan Gehlot, Kailash Gehlot and other members were present.
