Ujjain: International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) will take out 12th Jagannath Yatra on Saturday. ISKCON member Raghav Das informed that rituals would be performed at 1 pm and after the worship of rath of Lord Jagannath at 1.30 pm the yatra will be initiated at 2 pm. It will take a round of city area from Budhwariya, Kanthal, Naisadak, Daulautganj, Chamunda Mata Chouraha and will conclude at ISKCON temple, Dewas Road.

Arrangements have been made for grand procession of Lord Jagannath Yatra in which elephants, rows of horses, groups reciting bhajans, prasad distribution vehicle, ambulance and garbage collection groups will follow the procession. The yatra will be welcomed at 125 different locations by residents.

Madhya Pradesh Governor Anandiben Patel, BJP national chief Amit Shah and Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan will also participate in the yatra.  Energy minister Paras Jain, Rajya Sabha member Satya Narayan Jatiya, Jagdish Agrawal, Balyogi Umesh Nath Maharaj, Pithadhishwar of Ramanujkot Rangnathacharya and several devotees will follow the rath of Lord Jagannath.

Raghav Das said that after the yatra Lord Jagannath will stay in the ISKCON gaushala for seven days and several religious programmes will be held to celebrate his presence, he added.
