Ujjain: Most of the city’s CBSE schools performed well in the standard X examinations results which were announced on Tuesday. Girls outshined boys this year as well. Kendriya Vidyalaya’s results remained 99.17 percent as 119 students passed among 120 who appeared in the examination.

Name of toppers included Darshna Songara (95.80%), Devesh Sahu (95.20%), Chinmay Sharma (94.40%), Jayesh Totlani (93.60%), Astha Yadav (92.60%), Tejaswi Samavedula (91.40%) and Ketan Bharti (91.20%). Kalidas Montessori Senior Secondary School’s students performed excellently in Xth examinations conducted by Central board of secondary education. Principal Manushi Day informed that the result of the school remained 100 percent as all 108 students achieved success.  Vidushi Garg got 93.4 percent marks, Sejal Mansoorie got 91 percent marks and Bhupendra Jaat got 90 percent marks.

Khushi Soni of Oxford Junior College secured 94% marks. Result of Savyasachi School remained 70.27%. Students of Gyan Sagar Girls Academy got 100 percent result. Out of 66 students who appeared in the examination, 64 secured first division. 7 students who scored 90 percent and above marks include Chanchal Meena (96%), Gunjan Khatri (92.6%), Urvashi Porwal (92.4%), Mansi Sharma (91.6%), Ritika Goswami (91.2%), Khushi Jain (90.8%) and Sanskriti Pawar (90.8%).

Students of Gyan Sagar Co-education School showed excellent results with all 127 girls and boys  who appeared in the examination passing and 12 of them getting 90 percent or above marks. Their names included Ujjawal Lele (95.6%), Darshana Mittla (95.2%), Kratika Agrawal (95%), Atul Krishna Paroha (93.8%), Kshitij Gupta (93%), Jai Mehra (92.6%), Pallav Biswas (92.4 percent), Romish Jain (92.4%), Garvit Jain (92.2%), Vineet Prajapati (91.2%), Dishant Mehta (91%) and Vishal Singh Rajput (90%).

All 98 girls and boys students of Carmel Convent Senior Secondary School got success in the examination. Those who got 90 or above 90 percent marks included Sarah Safdar (97.4%), Atharva Markandey (94.6%), Siddharth Varangaonk (93.8%), Umme Salma Patanwala (93.8%),  Tanishi Anand (93%), Zainab Akkadwala (93%), Sarthak Jain (93%), Mohit Pathak (92.6%), Archita Mundra (92.2%), Shubhi Choubey (92.2%), Prathamesh Sugandhi (92%), Palak Mangal (91.8%), Kleem Soni (91.6%), Tanishq Bansal (91.4%), Soumy Kankriya (90.8%), Atharva Sharma (90.6%), Sameer Kanjani (90.6%) and Rakshita Jain (90%).
