Ujjain: An 11-day, 11-Kundiya ‘Maruti Maharudra Yagya’ will be hosted in the city of Mahakal from April 30. A 51-ft high ‘dharm dhwaja’ was installed at the venue of programme at Rokdiya Hanuman Mandir premises on Sadawal Road on Thursday afternoon in this connection.
Host Digambar Khushal Bharti of Mani Manmukund, Niranjani Akhara of Mewad Chittorh (Rajasthan) and Energy Minister Paras Jain, besides a number of saints and seers, peoples’ representatives and devotees were present on this occasion. Khushal Bharti arrived in the city for the event along with his associates, namely Alok Giri, Amit Puri, Vijay Bharti, Pankaj Giri, Hariom Bharti and Veera Didi. Local level management is being handled by Pt Rajesh Vyas.
In an interaction with Free Press, Digambar Khushal Bharti said that as the summer was expected record very high temperatures this year, an epidemic like situation along with excessive rains are bound to occur during the year. “The yagya was therefore planned to maintain a balance of nature and these efforts always turn out to be fruitful in the Mahakal city. We have thus decided to organise the event here which is the 17th in a row,” he added.
