Ujjain: Congress divisional observer holds meeting

Ujjain: A meeting of Congress leaders of the distrtict was held on Sunday with divisional observer Vishveshwar Bhagat. During his official visit, former Union minister and MP, Vishveshwar Bhagat paid obeisance to Lord Mahakal and called a meeting of Congress leaders as per the instruction of the All India Congress Committee (AICC), ahead of state elections, to convey the message of the Congress chief Rahul Gandhi for strengthing the organisation in the region.

Jila panchayat vice president Bharat Porwal stated that observer Bhagat met former MLAs , MPs and all leaders of the party. During the meeting he instructed leaders and volunteers to connect the people at booth level.

The meeting was presided over by district Congress head (urban) Anantnarayan Meena. Former MP Satyanarayan Panwar, former MLA Ramlal Malviya, Virendrasingh Sisodiya, Babulal Malviya, Ajeetsingh Thakur, Azam Sheikh, Mahesh Soni, Azad Yadav, Mahesh Patel, Murli Morwal, Sultansingh Lala, Rajendra Malviya, Vivek Yadav, Maya Rajesh Trivedi, Kailash Bisen, Sanjay Thakur, Riaz Khan, Arun Rochwani, Saligram Gehlot and Narayansing Bhatiya were present during the meeting.The meeting was conducted by Deepak Mehre and gratitude was expressed by Hafeez Qureshi.
