Ujjain: CM begins New Year with Lord Mahakal darshan

Ujjain: Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh Kamal Nath made his maiden visit after taking oath as the CM of MP to the city on the first day of 2019 and sought blessings of Lord Mahakal for better and prosperous year ahead. He arrived from Indore at about 11.30 am on helipad constructed especially for him at Narsing Ghat. Amidst tight security arrangements mayor Meena jonwal, MLAs Dilip Gurjar, Ramlal Malviya, Murli Morwal, Mahesh Parmar and Manoj Chawla greeted him on his arrival.

Nath directly reached Mahakaleshwar temple from the helipad and offered prayers to Lord Mahakal. Pt Ghanshayam Sharma and Pt Shailendra Sharma aka Shailu Guru assisted him in offering prayers to the Mahakal Jyotirlingam. Nath prayed for the well being and progress of citizens of state from lord Mahakal. After worshipping he reached the helipad at 1 pm and departed for Bhopal by helicopter.
