Ujjain: Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited has made the installation of new landline, broadband and fibre to the home (FTTH) connections free of cost. Earlier, BSNL had started the facility of free calling from 9 pm to 7 am and all day free calling on Sundays to all the carriers for its users. It has also upgraded the minimum speed of all the broadband plans to 1 mbps. BSNL’s BL Pandya said because of the growing demand for these plans by new users, BSNL had decided to extend the time limit for people to avail of these services. Landline plan starts with Rs 49, broadband unlimited plan with Rs 249, broadband unlimited combo plan at Rs 1,199 and FTTH plans have been launched to attract new customers.
