Ujjain: The scheduled caste wing of Bharatiya Janata Party conducted a district level meeting at its party office on Monday. The wing’s state president Suraj Kero, while addressing the meeting presented mission-2018, for the upcoming legislative elections in the State and said that workers should start working towards the goal of winning over 200 seats in the election. Workers of the SC wing will visit slums and enlighten people about various welfare schemes being run by the Shivraj Government.
Energy minister Paras Jain, MLA Mohan Yadav, mayor Meena Jonwal and city head Iqbal Singh Gandhi said workers should interact with people at city, block, ward and pooling booth levels, to apprise them about the working of the government for the betterment of society. Gandhi was honoured with a mace, while senior leader Vikram Singh Gondiya, Suresh Giri and Bhagwandas Giri were given tridents.
