Ujjain: Due to intense opposition by residents a wine shop in Pratapnagar near Shankarpur was shifted to a location 150 metre away from the existing site on Wednesday. Women of Pratapnagar were particularly angry and troubled by drunkards hanging around the wine shop, located in the residential area. They had been protesting to demand that the administration shift the shop elsewhere from the colony for the last two years. During this period FIRs were also lodged against 15 women, but finally state excise department decided to shift the shop away from the residential area. According to excise inspector Nitin Joshi hopefully drunkards would not create any trouble for residents of the colony.
