District administration and Ujjain Municipal Corporation intensified demolition of illegal constructions and cattle shed. Drive continued on Tuesday as 50 UMC gang men and over 80 police personnel were pressed into action. After Neelganga and Jaisingpura area UMC gang reached Panchampura with police force and started two floors constructed without permission. According to police officials house owner Rupesh Borasi is a habitual criminal and raises pigs for a living.
The UMC team razed illegal construction however his kin tried to check them from taking action but the police personnel present there tackled the matter. The UMC have given 15 days to the house owner to remove complete encroachments along with cattle shed.
Make city stray-cattle free: Collector
Collector Manish Singh appealed public representatives and citizens of to render support for making the city stray-cattle free. He cautioned that the drive may be intensified. Demolition of illegal cattle sheds located in the city is necessary to make the roads of the city cattle free.
Municipal commissioner Pratibha Pal on Tuesday visited Nimanvasa area of the city and took stock of cleanliness. She explained residents to make the area clean and litter-free. The commissioner also warns property tax payer to clear their dues soon otherwise they be liable to get attached their property. She also insisted the taxpayer to avail the advantage of National Lok Adalat to be held on Saturday.
