Ujjain: Two youngsters were killed when the motorcycle, that they were riding, collided with a loading vehicle on Dewas Road late on Saturday night. As per information, Rajesh (22) of Mahananda Nagar and Jayesh of Mahakal Vanijya Kendra were at a birthday party at Mahashweta Nagar when Rajesh received a call from another friend asking him to meet at Dewas Gate. Both friends left the party promising to return within half an hour. However, the promise remained unfulfilled as their bike collided head on with a loading vehicle near Divine Valley on Dewas Road.

As the duo did not return even after a couple of hours, their friends went looking and found them lying severely injured on road. They were taken to a hospital where both of them succumbed to their injuries during the course of treatment. Madhav Nagar police handed over the bodies to families after post-mortem. Loading vehicle driver Vikram of Bapunagar also received injuries and is undergoing treatment.

Friends said that Rajesh had done BCA from Madhav Science College and was the only son of his parents. Jayesh was studying engineering at a college in Indore.
