Ujjain: Government issued order to transfer 1400 students of Sarafa Girls School to dilapidated building near Chardham temple. The education department has issued an order to transfer 1400 students of the Government Girls Higher Secondary school from Maharajwada School building to a nearby dilapidated building at Chardham Mandir.

The building to which the students will be transferred is already in a state of collapse and students and school staff have raised fear and anger against the decision of the government. Jila Shiksha Samiti president Bharat Porwal visited the school on Monday. During his visit he spoke to students and school staff about the transfer to another building.

Bharat Porwal informed that he wrote a letter to Divisional Commissioner M B Ojha and collector Manish Singh and asked them to cancel the transfer order. Currently 1400 girls students are studying in the school and government should focus on their future and security as well, he said. District Education Officer Sanjay Goyal had issued the order to transfer students.

He also questioned the transfer order, issued by Sanjay Goyal and stated thatsanjaygoyalwas already aware of the situation of the dilapidated building. He asked to the collector to cancel the transfer order and also asked for construction of a new school buiding.
