Trader robbed of Rs 70K Our Staff Reporter

Indore : A trader was robbed by four unidentified persons in Bakhtawarram Nagar under Tilak Nagar police station area on Friday.

According to police, victim Nitesh Jain is a trader in Siyaganj area and was returning home on his bike in night when four persons on two bikes stopped him near Arpit Nursing Home and snatched his bag. It is suspected that the robbers were following the victim since some time and later when they found a chance they attacked him. The victim alleged that the robbers blocked his way and on gunpoint robbed him off a bag which had Rs 70,000, mobile phone, ATM cards and other valuables. The victim along with his relatives rushed to the police station and reported the matter. However, police have denied of robbery incident and filed a case of theft.

Sources claimed that the bikers had removed their vehicle’s number plate and had their faces covered and were also talking through signs without mentioning any ones name. Later when the victim and police tried to view the CCTV footage of the area it was found that the robbers struck the victim in an area which was out of the CCTV range. It is suspected that the accused had properly planned the crime before committing it.
