‘Toilet’ new song ‘Gori Tu Latth Maar’ shows Akshay and Bhumi’s unique relationship

Mumbai: New song of Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar starrer ‘Toilet: Ek Prem Katha’ ‘Gori Tu Latth Maar’ is out today. The song is a Holi track in which Keshav and Jaya played by the lead actors seem a little upset.

The song ‘Gori tu latth maar’ shows the town playing Holi, and Keshav apologising for his mistakes. The number is based on North Indian tradition. The ladies hurl sticks at the men, who try to shield themselves as much as they can. People play ‘latth maar’ before the actual Holi in the state of Uttar Pradesh, where thousands of Hindus congregate each year.

The song sung by Sonu Nigam and Palak Muchchal is composed by Manas-Shikhar.

Toilet: Ek Prem Katha is directed Shree Narayan Singh and also stars Anupam Kher, Sana Khan and Divyendu Sharma. The film will open in theatres on August 11.

On the work front, Akshay Kumar will be seen in Gold opposite Mouni Roy. And, currently the stars are busy in shooting in UK. Akshay also has R Balki’s Padman, co-starring Sonam Kapoor and Radhika Apte, in the pipeline. Akshay’s 2.0 with Rajinikanth is slated for January 2018 release.
