Afghanistan and Ireland are currently playing their first-ever Test against each other. Whoever wins, will create history, as it will be their first Test win in international cricket. But, before that, two players Tim Murtagh and Rashid Khan have already entered the record books.

Murtagh, during day 3 of the one-off Test, became the first 11th batsman to score more than 25 runs, in both the innings of a Test. Murtagh scored 54 not out in Ireland’s first innings and 27 runs in the second. Afghan star Rashid Khan too inked his name among the records as he bagged his first five-wicket haul for his country. Khan grabbed wickets of James McCollum, Kevin O’Brien, Stuart Thompson, George Dockrell and Andy McBrine.

As of now, Afghanistan are in full control in the historic Test. They now require just 61 runs to win their 1st Test while Ireland need 9 wickets.
