Marvel’s co-creator Stan Lee passed away today at the age of 95. Reportedly, he was taken to a hospital in Los Angeles where he was declared dead shortly after his arrival. The Marvel creator was known for making cameos in many films of the MC Universe. And by that, it indeed gave us goosebumps when it was revealed that Stan Lee had already filmed his cameo appearance for upcoming Avengers 4. Co-director Joe Russo confirmed that Stan will have a cameo in Avengers 4 and that he had shot the cameo along with the shooting for Infinity War and Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Russo further added that Stan doesn’t love to fly and we get him out for his cameos all at the same time. He further said that when we have other movies shooting at the same time, we group the cameos so that all the cameos can be done in a day. For those uninitiated, Stan first made a cameo with X-Men and then it went about for most of the recent Marvel films. Interestingly, he has also done cameos in other films which are not Marvel.

Here are some of his other quirky yet remarkable special appearances in Marvel movies over the years.
