The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has begun the online registration for the GD constable on its official website, ssc.nic.in. Earlier, the registration was withdrawn due to a very heavy load of application. The process has begun from 10 am and the last date for submission of online application would be September 17 till 5 PM. interested candidates can apply for the same through the official website. As per the notifications, there are 54,935 vacancies for Constable (GD). Candidates must hold a degree of graduation of diploma or 10th pass from a recognised board or educational institute.
Below are steps to follow while applying for SSC GD Constable 2018
Step 1: Log on to the official website, ssc.nic.in
Step 2: On the homepage, click on the ‘Apply’ button
Step 3: Enter all the required details such as name, address, e-mail, mobile number, category and educational qualification
Step 4: Click to submit and Take print out of the same for future reference.
The registration is for the following posts – Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles.
