SAGAR: A review meeting was held on Thursday under the chairmanship of in-charge minister Umashankar Gupta in the assembly room of collectorate. It was held to review the development works worth more than Rs 50 lakhs. In the meeting he told the officers to speed up the work.

He said that the timeline is very important and special attention has to be paid to ensure that the work is completed within time. The review would be done every month and maximum work should be done by 31 March 2017. He gave instructions regarding repairing of the roads.

The minister in-charge said there should be the proper coordination with the public representatives so that the development works can be completed soon and told to the officers to present the report regarding the work every month. He directed the authorities for regular monitoring of development projects.

Minister Gupta told officers of Agricultural Marketing Board to start new agriculture produce market in Malthon by March 2017. He directed the municipal authorities that the possession of housing should be given to the beneficiaries only when there is the availability of water in the city. He also reviewed Prime Minister Housing Scheme.  MLAs Shailendra Jain, Parul Sahu, Harvansh Singh Rathore, collector Vikas Narval, SP Sachin Atulkar, zila panchayat CEO Rajiv Ranjan Meena including other officers were present in the meeting.
