The new track from Sonakshi Sinha starrer ‘Noor’ is out and is already ruling the internet. Titled as ‘Gulabi Retro Mix’, the party number is a remix of Mohammed Rafi’s hit song from ‘The Train’. Tanishk Bagchi has composed the music and Sonu Nigam has crooned the song.
It is not unknown that Sonu began his career by doing cover songs of Rafi and adopted his style until he acquired his own way. With this song Sonu has sort of recaptured the beginning of his career.
The new song has the same video as Gulabi 2.0, another song from the film which only uses the first two lines from the hit number from yesteryear. But, the audio is refreshingly charming, unlike the peppy club number that was initially released. The song is a tribute to the iconic singer Mohammed Rafi and this new version sounds great.
