Six-yr-old dies as bus hits family on bike

BHOPAL : A 6-year-old girl died while three persons of her family sustained injuries after the bike on which they were travelling was hit by a speeding bus on Saturday morning.

35-year-old Ram Prasad, resident of Mata Mandir sqauare, and his family members including his wife Rajawati, daughter Sangeeta aged three,  Kirti aged four, and Pooja  aged six were on the bike. As the their bike approached Alpana talkies square around 9:30 am, a school bus hit the bike after which they all fell on the road.

The bus turned towards Bhopal talkies from the Bharat talks area while the bike borne family which was moving parallel to the bus took a simultaneous turn towards railway station. The bus driver failed to notice the bike, which led the fatal accident.

On receiving information, Mangalwara police reached the spot and ensured that the victims reach hospital on time.

However, doctors declared Pooja dead while other family members were provided treatment.

The bus driver Badri Prasad left the bus and fled the spot. Later, he hired an auto and surrendered before the police. 000000000
